You know, that's a good idea. I'll knock on some doors tomorrow. I think we can safely cross off the Mormons who live next door, but everyone else is a suspect.

I had a pour of Lot B today as well, but added a splash of WLW 2012 to up the proof. It wasn't that great at first but got much better as the glass sat. The flavors integrated well toward the end and definitely added some heat to the finish

Having a pour of a private selection EC12, one of my favorites.

A while back I had a very thin tasting bottle of OWA and made a habit of adding a splash of WLW. It wasn't so much to up the proof as it was to add some body and flavor...the result was fantastic.

I've been mixing WLW and OWA lately and the result is wonderful. The combo reduces the coma-inducing effects of drinking WLW straight without compromising flavor. Using the Kahn's single barrel OWA is particularly tasty.

I did the same last night, in a manner of speaking. I started out with a few Belgian beers and then moved on to bourbon. First up was a nice pour of "old label" OWA--always a favorite. Then I had a decent pour of '08 WLW with a drop of water which was superb. Finally, I decided to mix the two with a 2:1 ratio of OWA to WLW. Fantastic! Then I fell asleep in my chair with the New York Dolls cranking on the headphones. Those guys were real somnambulists 'cause I was out like a log!:grin:

I think I would be tracking down the delivery guy, particularly if you have a package number (wouldn't the store know that?) so you can know exactly who the thief is.

Some of the "good stuff" tonight. Jeffersons Presidential Reserve 18 followed by 4R sbLE 12. You can really get spoiled drinking this!
