NOw you just need to work on getting another 11 of other items to lay down with it. I did the same for my first in 09 and need to work and doing the same for the next one coming soon.
Hard part will be staying away from it for the next many years..... 3 down, 18 to go!!
B
1 WLW from this year.
These seem tough to find around here.
Best regards, Tony
Got a current PHC looking forward to trying it.
Awesome! I grew up in Cadiz, KY, and essentially all of my family still live there. I grew up eating country ham regularly since my grandfather was one of the prominent producers in the area, back when he was in better health. Here's an article from the Chicago Reader from where they visited my grandfather's farm http://www.chicagoreader.com/chicago...ent?oid=999745, and one from the Serious Eats website http://www.seriouseats.com/2008/03/c...n-ham-man.html on the lost art of ham curing.
What restaurant was this?
Was able to grab a bottle of GTS yesterday while hunting for WLW which I didn't find.
Looks like I'll have to try and find some PVW/VWFRR very soon.
