This is our 3rd round of OWA barrel selections and all of them have ranged from 8.5yrs to 7.5yrs in age.

Grabbed a few things for myself while out Christmas shopping: Rittenhouse, Weller 12, and a WT American Spirit. Oh, and a Lagavulin Distiller's Edition.

Old Ezra 101 and KCSBR.

Received my final FR Smb LE 2012 today.

Whats a reasonable price for the WTAS? I found a guy with a stash of 6 or so for $80 each. From what I've read here its a pretty good pour.

The one I've seen is $99...

Managed to track down a couple of 375ml HW 16 yo rye bottles today (all they had). I know, not bourbon but still I was happy to find it with a little help from the local distributor giving me a few leads. Hadn't seen it on the shelf for quite some time before today.

A bit spendy but not likely to see much of it in the future either.

Was finally able to snag 2 bottles of 2012 FRSmB LE. Based on all the reviews, should be an excellent pour.

Finally found some Weller 12 under $35 that I didn't have to travel out of the state for. They also had a single barrel batch of Weller 107 that was special bottled just for them, was same price as the 12 year, so I only bought 1.
