All the bottles I have say DSP 31 for both distilled and bottled. But I don't think it is currently carried in SC and most bottles have been on the shelf for awhile. How does it compare to 354?

In my opinion, all with dsp 31 distilled and bottled are more flavorful. Do you have any prefire HH Mellow Corn?

How do you know if it is pre-fire? All the MC I have and have seen seen is DSP31/DSP31. It is much darker than the J. W. Corn I have and was bottled in the late 1990s. It is lighter than the DSP12 Old Dispensary corn whiskey from the 80s.

I would think anything bottled up till say 1998 is a sure pre fire. Fire was in 96. I bet that is fine stuff.

It doesn't taste anything like the new Platte Valley Corn Whiskey which I understand is sourced from HH. The MC is as dark as many of my bourbons except slightly yellower.
