Thomas Handy '12, and some Larceny. Both are fun sippers.
What bourbon are you drinking? Winter 12/13
Enjoying a bit of THH and PHC 2012 with a big cube

Trying out the V17. A very tasty old wheater. Fantastic nose and lots of butterscotch and vanilla. I've got the itch to go grab one or two more for the bunker.

DO IT!!!! Personally the V17 is the best whiskey (note I didn't say bourbon) in my cabinet. Sad thing is I only have one on backup.

When this was released a lot of people were comparing it to Stagg. There is no comparison. It is way better than the most recent releases of Stagg. I'm envious!

nothing too excited for the past week, been spending time with a last years EWSB.
I'd call it uncomplicated, but wonderfully simple. this particular bottle is just hitting a point to be where I want just want something good, and inexpensive to pour.
And by the 1/4 bottle left, it has done that just fine.
Now I just need to go back to the store and get some more, i think they have the rest of the same barrel of this one.

I went back to the 2001 version of this last night (I've been more partial to the 2002). On a whim, I decided to add half an ice cube. Wow, what a difference! It really brought out the spice. This might be one I always add ice to, while leaving the 2002 neat.

Had the last pour of a bottle of Weller 12 last night. Followed it with a glass of ETL.

Anyway, I'd definitely recommend this Curacao: it's worthing having on your bar.
If you like Ferrand Curacao you might enjoy this bourbon variation on a classic cocktail I just posted in the cocktail thread.
