Enjoyed some FR Yellow. For some reason, one of my local stores regularly prices it at 13$ a fifth. With that - and will EWBIB now available locally at $12 - my everyday pours are nicely locked up, thank you very much.

decided to break out of my own rut last night, needed to pull something different than what has been normally in rotation, so headed down to the bunker and pulled out a RR rye and a WR Sweet Mash.
Held off on the rye, but cracked the WR, enjoyable, and different. Really like nosing the empty glass this morning, smelled of sweet apple cider. Probably one of the best morning after noses that I've run across.

4 Roses Single Barrel LE 2012.
Broke out the PVW23 after a very nice dinner at Equinox with my wife. I know the 23yo is like eating wood chips but it's so smooth.
Had a Barton based cocktail with lunch.
BT and ER17 tonight.

Rain and sleet are coming down hard which calls for a winter warmer--2008 GTS and maybe some '08 WLW to follow.
Drinking monster pours (4-5 ounces) of Bulleit for $6 at a neighborhood dive bar before The Walkmen/Father John Misty show. This bar's selection consists of: Evan Williams Green Label (well), Jack Daniels, Jim Beam, WT101, Bulleit, Basil Hayden's, Michter's Rye and, oddly, Whistlepig 111 ($20 a pour, which may not be a bad deal considering the size of their pours). They're also rocking a bottle if Highland Park 18.
