Christmas bottles

Old guys will do strange things, I tell 'ya.

Finally had our family Xmas party on SAT. Got a CEHT Rye and a BT

No bourbon gifts but my mother in law did give me a set of 6 Glencairns.

Gave a bottle of that as a gift to a friend this year. Looking forward to hearing what he thinks. Have to wait until he gets back to CA to find out!

I think I want... no, NEED a bottle of this on my bar. And one to bring to a "bottle trash night" party.

I don't believe I've ever been tipsy enough to be tempted by this.

I agree. I suspect that some of the 6-8 year old juice went into WT81 and WT101 is now all 4-6 year bourbon. Tastes young-ish and hot. Only looking to purchase old labels, the newest "dusty".

Sticking to the thread, I got "nuthin" this Xmas.

Yeah the new WT101 sucks. I thought maybe I was wrong, but tried again. It's awful. If there is 6 years in there then it is less than 25%. Used to be my go to bourbon. No more.

I got some money for Christmas for bourbons and got a 2011 Ltd. Edition Small Batch Four Roses (fantastic stuff..I don't get the somewhat negative reviews) and a Weller 12..also got OGD 114.
