I'm in! Would love to do some whiskey tasting especially with people who have more knowledge than I (which is just about everyone).
Spoke with someone at Acme about their Sunday tasting (Willett, Michters, St George, Charbay & Nikka). He said whatever isn't poured at the meet & greet they will have on the shelves and available until empty.

Weekday evening works with me. I'd love to go try the Old Potrero Hotaling if its still available.
Curtis - I went down to Acme on Tuesday with my brother inlaw and the owner (Jennifer) set us up. Tried the St George, Willett 9yo, samples of a Jamacian Rum a couple of Scotch's and a Charbay she was given straight out of the barrel. I'd suggest a Tuesday or Wednesday as it's not that busy and if available Jennifer is a wealth of knowledge (she's a whiskey geek).

Curtis - I saw some Old Portrero down at Acme, don't remember which one's though. Do you know if Anchor Distillery has a tasting room? I know they have a room to host VIP events, but wasn't sure if it was open in general.
Hey Hey, I'm not sure what Anchor has for a tasting room. I'll do a bit more research. I'm not going to be able to make it over to Berkeley this week. I've got a heavy work load.
