1 year till prohibition, what would you stockpile?

I recently started reading Daniel Okrent's book on prohibition 'Last Call' and the question of what I would do if I knew in a year that the sale/manufacturing of alcohol would be illegal popped in my head. I know some of us bunker for various reason; fear of price change, dropped age statement, lowered proof or just because it's damn good hooch. But what if you knew a year from now it would all be gone(scary thought), what would bunker? Would you stockpile your favorite brands or get as much variety as possible?

For me personally I would get my hands on as much OWA, Weller 12, ETL, and Ritt BIB as I could afford.

I would just move into Hectic's basement and ride it out until repeal.

Cases and cases of VOB BIB. Cheap and tasty!

Actually we could dig a tunnel from my house to yours and be set for a good while! :cool:

I would buy as many barrels of FR OBSV, OESO, and OBSK as Jim R would bottle for me! :)

A whole bunch of Barton, Grand Dad and overproof rum.

I would drive straight to the store I found that had a few cases of Age stated WSR handles and buy them all, then I would buy every HW Rendezvous I could find...If I were in a dream world I would buy cases of Lot B and HW 16... Though I think it would take a couple decades of prohibition before I had to worry about buying another bottle

I'm with Hectic, by the barrel is the way to go.

Plus, there would be somethign uniquely satisfying to see the cases stacked on a pallet, or two, in my basement.

I think there was a photo of this with somebody that did handles of Jack???
