Also, the 1792 stopper is probably my favorite.
I remember when the Blanton's bottle appeared the Monty Python generation named it "The Holy Hand Grenade".
I really like the Larceny bottle, clean and efficient, interesting design and label, easy to grab, and the cork pops off without a problem. ;)
Of course the Larceny bottle is in keeping with the key motif and I wonder what ideas were tossed aside for that one to become the winner.
I like the 4 roses SB bottles, and the bulleit bottles
I have two that I am slowly emptying to convert to decanters with silcon cork stoppers for when a 1.75 gets below half.
1835 and Town Branch. Sadly neither bourbon holds up to the heft, simplicity and classic design of the bottles.
the only bottle ive ever kept just because i like the bottle itself was a Charter 101 bottle. the octagonal cut around the neck taper and the embossed wheat or flowers or whatever on each side of the label just looks classy and cool.
HH bottles are just utilitarian. what i like about HH is they just get you your whiskey and dont charge you for some stupid bottle design. we are, after all, more interested in what is IN the bottles
