For those of you who have not yet busted your bourbon budget, or are striving for 5.15 kilobottles for your bourbon bunker, Sam's Fall sale starts tomorrow. It seems that their catalog will not be available to see until then, at least I couldn't this AM.

Bob, shouldn't be too long now for the Hirsch, and I've spoken to them and they also plan to have a limited supply of the GTS. I'm going to delay shipping of my Hirsch so they can add a couple of bottles of the Stagg and ER17 too. Yehaw. http://www.straightbourbon.com/forum...lins/smile.gif
Sams Fall Sale is now up. They've got some good buys this time around, but I was a bit more impressed last time. During the last sale they had some Antique bottles thrown in which I was waiting for this time around and alas they are not there... Even upon calling them they are in fact sold out on things like weller 19 and Sazerac 18... It's a PDF file so be sure you have Adobe Acrobat installed to view it.
I checked it out this AM, and found a number of things with better prices than I paid at Liquor Barn. I still WANT a LB in my neighborhood tho! http://www.straightbourbon.com/forum...emlins/lol.gif I'm debating whether to add more to the bunker!

Actually I noticed some prices were better than LB as well; ORVW 15 year for $29.xx! That's great, but the shipping kills us. I got my order in a bit ago for 6 bottles, all stuff I didn't get while in KY one being the Eagle Rare 10 year 101 proof that so many suggest from here. Also, I added another bottle of Wathen's since the one I got in KY is near gone already! Yes, it is that good. For those who live within driving distance of Sams though, I am very jealous.

As I read the catalog, the special prices apply to the quantities shown in small print to the right of the price. IOW, one must buy multiples of six bottles of Woodford Reserve to qualify for the $20.69 price.
Am I reading it correctly?

I dont think so Dave, it didn't the last time. I called and ordered 6 bottles, 6 unique bottles, and was quoted the price for each that was listed in the flyer. They just put that there to probably inform one of the quantity of a case of that particular product... Like some bottles come in cases of 3, others 6 and others 12.

Now that I've read your answer, I have the nagging feeling I asked the same question some time in the past.
Thanks for setting me straight.
I guess I'll do an inventory of the burbo-closet, looking for nearly empty bottles of favorites, and try to add a couple of bottles to my pending Hirsch order.
