I have thought about the internet option. Another option is heading across the border to Oregon, I believe they carry OF there. Thanks for the bourbon suggestions. http://www.straightbourbon.com/forum...emlins/yum.gif
I am with you on the Elijah Craig. That is a fine bourbon at a good price. I did not like EC at first but it has grown on me. It has a very distinct taste. Thanks. http://www.straightbourbon.com/forum...lins/toast.gif
I gotta get me a Jim Beam black, ive heard great things about its value and it always looks so respectable and tasty sitting on the shelves.
I like the EC12 and the EWSB '94 vintage (the '93 was ok, it took almost an entire bottle to "grow" on me). I also enjoy Knob Creek, but when I can get Elijah Craig for 1/2 the price, it's not hard to decide on what my "daily pour" is...
Slowsipper,
I you want a 1.5L bottle of Old Forester that only has 2 pours missing I will gladly send it to you for the price of shipping. PM me.
Vision and idpa2000,
Thanks for offering to sell me your OF. I the Oregon source does not work out I might take you up on the offers.http://www.straightbourbon.com/forum...lins/toast.gif
As its still kinda warm here in San Diego, ive been drinking my bourbon with a little bit of crushed ice or one cube, to dilute it and also give it a nice chill. i find that I appreciate it more when its chilled but im guessing my taste will switch more towards a warmer drink as the colder months approach.
