The Lawrenceburg bottlings are no longer made and very hard to find here in SoCal. The Frankfurt bottlings (current) are found at your larger liquor stores and specialty liquor stores.
I've never seen any Louisville bottles, I thought they were either Frankfort or Lawrenceburg.
Have you tried the Liquor Barn on Fern Valley? I have seen it there in the past. If you want to venture up to the Newport and Covington area near Cinncinati, Party Source usually has the 90 and 107 proof versions!

I think he's shopping in Louisville KY.

Yes the bottles would say Lawrenceburg or Frankfort
:grin::grin:
And FYI, those bottles seem to have diminished around here too.

I've never seen it at the local big guys either, just a B rate liquor store in a college part of town. Strange...
I would venture a guess that B rate liquor store probably has been in business twice as long as the local big guys and has gotten ORVW for many years.
Actually when I went in last and bought 4 bottles the guy ringing me up told me the owner's brother loves bourbon and that's the reason they carry any of the Van Winkles.
I still need to go back and snag the rest plus some 20yr.
