Can anyone here recommend a good wheater that can be found in any liquor store shelf in the country.
This is as a result of a tireless search of hard to find bourbon, i.e., GTS, WLW (Antique Collection), PVW 10 107 and 15, etc. Frankly, I'm tired of trying to find the hard to find. What's good and easy to find that's a wheater.
Any help is very much appreciated. Thank you.

Any of the wheat grain bourbons that have an age stated on the label, that is 6 years or older, are the ones that I would look for. Such as: VanWinkle, Fitz, Weller
Makers should be available every where. Rebel Yell is a place to start...if you have not had a wheater before now. Look for high proof or age to stay in the proper flavor profile (Bib,107,90,SW).
I can't really speak for their availability but I assume they are regularly available since the store by me always has them on the shelf (and I've purchased the last one or two on more than one occasion and found the supply replenished within days), Weller Antique 107 and Weller Centennial. If you can't find them them go with MM, it's a good bourbon and you should have no trouble finding it at all.
My vote would go to the Weller Antique 107. Of course, always be on the lookout for the Van Winkle and Old Fitzgerald too.
Weller 12. If you can, order a hand picked one from Binny's. This stuff rocks.

A little off topic, yesterday some guys from a popular Australian TV show called "The Chaser" decided to have a little fun with the whole APEC thing going on. They drove 3 cars through the first security checkpoint in the high-security APEC zone, making out they were from Canada. When they got stopped at the 2nd security checkpoint, one of them got out of the car dressed as Osama. Needless to say, they have been placed into lockdown until APEC is over for the security breach.
Not the first time they have all been arrested for stupid stunts, and I would say it wont be the last! If you want to see some crazy Australians doing ever crazier things check out some of their videos on youtube. Search for "Chaser's war on everything"
