Ox, I think the Saz is the best of those three. The 06 Handy is better along with the 06 Eagle Rare. ... my 2-cents worth... and it seems harder to find.... the Saz I mean

I totally understand Jeff, sorry my teasing and jealousy didn't come through well. It's more envy that there is so much of this stuff sitting around there that you guys can do that. In all my hunting in SoCal I've found 1 L'ville Weller Antique and 1 Pewter top that was legible, maybe 3 others with the writing that has faded.
Anyway hope I didn't ruffle your feathers. I too have helped members find things around here, heck I even did that in Kentucky when I saw stuff while driving through that someone posted about looking for. So I'm not about hoarding things for sure, just isn't often you see enough on a shelf around here to leave for others. And when I have the ever present lurker has often swooped in and grabbed it. If you ever see things on ebay from Riverside Ca., well that's one lurker who is plucking from this area and selling... You guys are very lucky you don't have someone doing this in you area.
As for my visit; I walked out of the airport at midnight and it felt about 85-88 with humidity every bit as high and I just couldn't imagine dealing with that often. That was Dallas though, not sure how other places compare. So sure, I'd come visit... in December maybe.
PVW 15 because I could! Happy Bunkering. It's hard to find in SE MI.
I got as much Old Forester I could before the pa State stores got rid of it all. It is one fine Bourbon!

Finally made the trip to Binny's. Could have brought seven or bottles home with me easy. As the wife was with me, you know the old saying, "Sometimes, discretion is the better part of valor." I chose two bottles of Lot B and one bottle of ORVW 10/107. I am a very happy camper. Joe
I finally found a bottle of ORVW 10 yr 107..Love that bourbon..This should hold me until more comes out in Sept..
Buffalo Trace from a new BevMo that opened nearby. The Large Bottle! The selection is never better than when the places first open. They had many bottles that I would have loved to have tried, but the budget is what the budget is.
Between North Myrtle and Calabash, NC, I picked up a couple of Saz 18's and a Henry McKenna SB. I also ran in to a bunch of Dickel No. 8 down here (both 750's and handles), but my bourbon budget for this trip has been tapped out.
Received in the mail today my first bottle of Four Roses Single Barrel. Looking forward to tasting it later this evening.
