I like it... and it only seems fair.. in your honer, a snipit of A'bundah tonight...
Just woke up at this side of the ocean, how about a cuppa tea?
Eric.
Caol Ila 14yo Signatory- one of the best Caol Ilas I have had. Far more peated than most, and some deep sweetness for balance. Just a great dram, too bad I am at the end of the bottle (but thankfully I always keep a 4oz sample for future tasting).
Kilbeggan and it is suprisingly good!
I'm sipping a 1991 Rosebank, 15 years old from Signatory. My favorite lowland, and one of my favorite single malts, period. This is a lowland with all the traits of the style, but with punch, with malty zest that carries from the nose through to the finish. Balanced, perfect.
Now, the hauntingly great OP 12
Grant's Family Reserve. Definitely a best buy.
The Glendronach Original 12. Interesting stuff; the fruitiness of cognac meets robust oak that is very bourbon-like. With water, there is almost a candied sweetness to the nose...this one will definitely require more exploration...
