Love the a'bunadh. Have you tried the Macallan cask strength?
Fun to try as side by side.

Enjoying my first taste of Ardmore Traditional Cask (Quarter Cask). Spicy, bourbon-like and some very nice peat and smoke. While I prefer the Laphroaig Quarter Cask, this is really nice indeed.

Sounds lovely. I'm on the opposite end of the scale: 1997 Dalmore. A lot lighter than I expect. Subtle and buttery.

In the garage watching the thunderstorm roll by with some Laphroaig 18yo, neat.

I've yet to try any from that distillery. I'm up in Canada and picked up the Peat Monster.... I really like this one.

Since it's Open Championship week, I decided to open the bottle of Laphroaig Cask Strength last night. It definitely lived up to my expectations.

Enjoyed an evening on the front porch with a nice dram of Paddy Irish.

I have not but plan on getting that and a couple others in the near future. Thanks.

Ardmore is easy to get in my neck of the woods, so I always have a bottle or two. I really enjoy it.

@AVB: I sure can.
Once I've had over 3 glasses of bourbon, I start posting to the wrong pages. At the time, I truly did believe I was posting to the right place. And I truly did believe that I had rock hard chisled abs and was invisible too.
