Im reading an old Charles Willeford novel and one of the characters asked another if he'd like a scotch.
He said it was a cheap one called Glen Plaid.
Never heard that one before I thought it was funny.
Glen Plaid is a very common fabric pattern but the name is probably a takeoff of the Inver House Green Plaid brand. That stuff certainly is cheap.
First time having Ardbeg 10 tonight. Enjoyed this as I watched a great basketball game between Xavier and Vanderbilt.
Aberfeldy 12, which just became available in Ontario. Really liking this stuff so far.
