So far, I am there with you. Which brings me to my drink for the night Octomore 1.1, damn, it is freaking phenomenal! I love this stuff. For something so peaty and intensely smokey it still has some fruit and cocoa characters in there. Well done.

Ardmore is one of my go to drams. It would be hard to find a better whisky for the price.

Totally agree. It has a beautiful combination of peat and bourbon-like vanilla and caramel. Hard to find for $35.

I can get Ardmore Trad Cask for $20 at one store around here. And I think I'm the only customer buying it. Life's good!

That is an insanely good price.

Binny's has it for $30 which I thought was terrific until I stumbled upon this other place. The store owner swears that nobody buys it because they think it's a cheap knock-off of Ardbeg or something along those lines. (And at $20 I'm sure they think it's a McClellands-type product.) So, until the masses discover what I already know, the Ardmore Trad Cask will remain in abundant supply around here. Works for me!

Interesting... I will have to find this Ardmore and give it a try!

After being out all day in the sun and wind yesterday, had two healthy pours of HP12 last night. I don't call on sms often but it hit the spot last night.
