Today being mother's day and the ocassion of my grandson's birth, I pulled out my Balvenie 21 Portwood and poured a healthy dram. If you are a Balvenie fan, this one is nicely done.
A toast to all our moms! :toast:

Last night a moderate pour of Paddy Old Irish Whiskey
Dalmore 12 to clear the head.
Cold, rainy and windy so I poured myself a Laphroaig 18yo, neat.
I thought today would never end.
Started with JWB and now hitting up the few last pours from my bottle of Ardberg Uiegedail. Delicious pour!
Enjoying a little Macallan Cask right now.
Whyte & Mackay Special Blend with an ice cube. Certainly one of the better entry-level blends in the world of Scotch whisky. No smoke but lots of dried fruit (raisins and figs), also honey. Wonderfully aromatic on the rocks.
Decided to do a non-bourbon line up tonight so got together with a couple other like minded whiskey dudes and enjoyed the following:
Bushmills 16 year
Bushmills 1608
Bushmills Millennium
Tyrconnell 10 year, Madeira, Sherry and Port finish
Tomatin 12 year
Amrut Fusion (a great Indian whiskey)
Paddy Old Irish
Cardhu 12 year HSM
Aberlour a'bunadh cask strength (120pf)
That last one was superb...loaded with honey, toffee and very bourbon like.
