Can't answer your question but very cool pick-up of one of my all-time favorite single malts. Have you cracked it open yet? I'd be curious to hear your opinion on how it stacks up against current bottlings of HP12.Quote:

i picked up a bottle of the Yamazaki 12 year yesterday. a japanese whiskey made in the scotch style, but without all the peat flavor. quite good actually. i think i would get it again.
Picked up a bottle of Ardbeg Uigeadail yesterday, one I've been wanting for a while.
While doing some hunting last night, I hit one store that had 2 bottles (liter) of Paddy Old Irish on the shelf. For $27 each, I was more than happy to take them home.
