No info. I've had one bottle of the 10 yo. I thought it was good, but the 12 is better.
Have you ever had the Auchentoshan Three Wood?

Aberlour 10 no longer appears on Binny's or Park Avenue Liquors' web sites but seems to be readily available when viewing European web sites. Maybe they're still producing it but just don't send it here anymore. I agree that the 12 year old is better, but it concerns me that "age-ism" is causing the disappearance of 10 year olds in favor of 12's, 12 year olds for 14 year olds, etc. And with each age jump, there's a price jump as well.
Haven't had the Auchentoshan Three Wood yet but it's on my buy list. The 12 year old is very nice, I must say.

Picked up a very dusty, literally, Forty Creek Confederation Oak the other day.
It looked like it had absolutely not been touch since it came into stock in the store judging by the dust coating on it.
Looking forward to trying something a bot different from north of the border.

Great whisky, enjoy. Try not to judge it too fast; it was a creeper whisky for me.

I picked up a Glenmorangie "Discovery Pack" for $39. It has a regular bottle of 10 yo glenmorangie and three 5ml bottles of the three 12 yo extra aged varieties. Great way to compare different finishes without spending a fortune.

Nice! I wish I could find one of those in Georgia.

Got a bottle of Ballantines Christmas Reserve at the Windsor, Ontario duty free on the way back from Canada. I like Ballantines in general and had never seen this version before!
