Welcome to the board Russ and happy hunting with your venture into tasting new bourbons. I would like to recommend Elmer T. Lee or WL Weller 12yr as a start to your quest. Evan Williams Single Barrel...
I have been a fan of Weller products since I have started drinking bourbon. The Weller 12yr and Centennial are two of my favorites. The WLW 06 is the cream of the crop, the icing on the cake and my...
Starting with an ultra clean palate such as yours the EWSB should be the one you would like from the start. After a couple weeks of conditioning the Turkeys would be my choice maybe with an ice cube...

I have had a few pours of this fine bourbon this month and like the full maturity of the flavor. I hate that I really like this because it will not be available in the future.

The gunfighter walked up to the bar for one last drink before he had to go out to meet the sheriff for the showdown. "Give me a shot of your best whiskey" he said as he only had a few minutes before...
Sorry I'm late on this post but I have to comment on this fine bourbon. I am new to premium bourbon tasting and being a member of this forum but I am enjoying my adventure. This is the first time I...
