An excellent choice this month
I've been out of this one for a while, and I really miss it. The ole Lot B is one of my favorite products, period.
I do have to say, especially when you consider the price, BT really is a great bourbon.
I'd really love to try Four Roses, but I can't find it in my area.
Ew 1783
My bottle was Not from Binny's. That one probably is the one to buy.
I just had a second pour from my bottle. I think there is something going on with the current batches. This is one of the worst bourbons, I've ever had. Buyer beware, in many locations it may be...
My bottle isn't earthy, it's definately woody. Seems like someone soaked a 2 x 4 in the bottle for the last ten years. So much wood, I can't really taste anything else. I've heard this bourbon...
I just picked up my first bottle of ETL a few nights ago, upon reading lots of good things about it. Maybe it's my bottle, but I'm extremely unimpressed, I can't believe how woody this bourbon is. ...
I've never had this one, but now I'm tempted. Any thoughts?
I don't know a way to tell them apart, but both are excellent products and with a great price like that, Enjoy!
It's been several months since I last had any 20. I keep up in a closet securely tucked away for special occassions. Today wasn't special, but I figured that with the addition of Pappy 20 it would...
I prefer the BMH 16 over the BMH 21
I love OGD 114, Great stuff and a great choice this month. It's also one of the best bourbon values out there.
Well, Dave, if you'd like all those questions answered, I guess we could devote the time.

Great to have you aboard!
Are you looking for Scotches? Bourbons? Or other Tennessee Whiskeys?
If your bourbon collection is just for guests. I honestly don't think you need anything else. Save your money. That collection is very impressive.
Good luck.
Sorry to say this, but I don't find any decent bourbon bitter. This doesn't include well bourbons, etc.
If you really want a sweet one, I'd look at Mitchener's American Whiskey. Anything but...
Bourbon's I'd never want to live without:
Lot B
BMH 11
EW 1783
As long as I have either WT RB or RR, I'm happy
For Scotch:
Laphroaig 10
Highland Park 12
Kevin -- Welcome to SB.com. Good luck in your spiritual journey!
I would recommend a bottling from the Van Winkle Family, 12 year Lot B, Family Reserve 15 or 20 year. Or a bottle of AH Hirsch. A Black Maple Hill may also make a nice gift.
I'm in agreement...
The last time I was in Denver, I only made it to Pints once, I wish I had had more time and the place hadn't been packed with drunk kids. :hot: That didn't help at all.
But look up Argonauts...
Check out Applejack's and Argonauts, both located in Denver and both have very good selections. I'd look them up online to find exact locations.
If you're a Scotch fan, find the bar, "Pints"...
Every recommendation I've read seems good to me, but I'd also recommend some of the Black Maple Hill offerings, I have never been disappointed with any of them. As well as Van Winkle Special Reserve...
