Good to have you with us! Since you're not too far from Chicago, you'll have to join us the next time we have a get together at Binny's.
  4. Sticky: Re: BOTM: 6/12 Colonel E.H. Taylor, Jr. Warehouse C Tornado Surviving Bourbon

Love this bourbon, enough so that I've purchased multiple bottles. Sure, I wish it was priced lower, but I've never had any regrets in buying them. IMHO, this one is worth the money.

Sticky: Re: BOTM 1/12: Mellow Corn BIB

As I've told a few people, this one reminds me of going to the county fair and having an ear of roasted corn dipped in butter. I really like this whiskey and will be picking up more when I get to KY...

    Re: BOTM 10/11: Angel's Envy

I like this one quite a bit as well Joe, but hadn't thought of it as a dessert bourbon. What a great idea! I have a feeling my open bottle isn't going to last very long now.

Re: BOTM 2/11: Old Rip Van Winkle 10 yr 107 proof

Geez Joe, I was doing so well at finishing off open bottles and then you post this BOTM. However, after bringing one out of the bunker and having a pour, you're forgiven. Good call!

Re: '08 KS and RR90 Questions?

I prefer the RR, never have really gotten into WT101 (I know, blasphemy). It killed me to pass up RR10/90 at $24 today at Woodman's. Trying my best to drink up more of what I've already got :(

Re: '08 KS and RR90 Questions?

Did you buy the 6 yr or 10 yr? RR 10 yr 90 goes for anywhere from $24 - $29 here in northern Illinois, but it's always tough to compare prices in different areas of the country. Especially when we're...

Have to agree with Scott - anything with "Bonded" in it's name in KY is going to be good. You have some options the rest of us don't have.

    Enjoy!
