When I cracked open one of my PVW 15s, I was underwhelmed. Then I let it sit for about a week, came back, poured some and let that sit for 5 minutes. After that, it's all been great.

I find that most Van Winkle products do quite well when they've been given the chance to breathe. My first sip from a glass or pour from the bottle is almost never as good as the last.

Given the choice, I choose the PVW 15 over the Lot B. However as many before me have said, neither will disappoint.
