It's amazing but after always having it available now it has been absent for about a month and my dealers are having trouble with the re-supply. Well at least that is what they say.

Welcome! Always great to see another Ga member. You also need to avoid ECBP, SAOS, and OFBB.

Nothing wrong with where you reside now but where you were raised is God's country. Love that area and ride through there as often as we can.

Well since I've never had lot B you might get me on that one but then again maybe I wouldn't enjoy lot B either.

Sticky: Re: BOTM 4/14: Weller Special Reserve

First time I've ever had a negative post about a BOTM. Just not a fan of this. For me it's not a bad bourbon it's just a blah one.

I wouldn't turn it down if a friend offered a glass and that's...
  10. Re: Where / What to buy in Houston, or along drive to / from Austin?

Although I really don't enjoy Bookers I would have bought at that price. My whiskey wants $200, yuck!

Sticky: Re: BOTM 4/13: Old Grand Dad 114

I love me some OGD114 just a little more than the OGDBIB which I also enjoy. I've always thought that strange, since I really don't like KC, Bookers, Basil Hayden, or Bakers. What's up with that?
  13. Re: [novice] Collecting.. Hoarding.. Prepping? / Lower Shelves

I can relate. Several single bottles of Stagg, Handy, PVW that I have left unopened and placed deep in the bunker until I can acquire some more this year for comparison testing. Well at least...

    Re: Hello from Cleveland!

Welcome gg. Looks like you are off to a great start although I admit I have never heard of Cleveland. Hope it's better than Chattanooga Whiskey.

On second thought nothing is as bad as Chat 1816.
  15. Re: Hi from Nashville!! And newbie question...

Well it's because I don't have the stayin power that I had 50 years ago. For me now it has to be wham, bam, thank you mam.
  16. Re: Hi from Nashville!! And newbie question...

I used to be happy with 80 proof mixers until I picked up this hobby last year. Now if I do mix it has to 100 proof minimum.

Oh and Wes I left my favorite value rye, Baby Zaz.
  17. Re: Hi from Nashville!! And newbie question...

Welcome Wes. I would be shocked if anyone on here would reccomend OO as a rye to be tasted neat. It just isn't really very good, at least not anymore.

Now just as soon as I hit quick reply...

Sticky: Re: BOTM 2/14: Smooth Ambler Old Scout

Found it more like the WT101 than the FRSB. Now anything 4R is my favorite and I've just rediscovered the joy of WT101. I'd put this right btween the two and I love em all.
