    Re: Another Buckeye here

Weilands is my favorite state store as well. Pretty much the best selection you will find in the state. They also have great meats for grilling, fwiw.

    Re: Another Buckeye here

Welcome! The more bourbon lovers we get in this state, the better chance there is of some of the stuff we talk about here actually making it to our wonderful state stores.

    Re: Cheers from Newport, KY

Welcome! I agree with you on Party Source. Quite a store! Unfortunately I also agree in terms of trying to find limited release whiskeys in Northern Kentucky. Hard to come by.

    Re: new guy from Ohio

Sir, I too share the burden of being a bourbon fan in Ohio. It can be a frustrating experience. I am lucky in that I go to school in Cincinnati and therefore am in close proximity to Kentucky. Still,...

    Re: BOTM 10/11: Angel's Envy

I enjoy this bourbon, and I like the fact that more bourbon producers are experimenting with different kinds of finishes. That said, for the price I paid for a bottle of this, I was hoping...

    Re: BOTM 7/11: Maker's 46

I find it spicier and generally having more character than regular Maker's Mark. It isn't my favorite bourbon, but I find it enjoyable.

Hello from Columbus and a question...

Hello! I'm a newcomer from Columbus, Ohio and have, over the past year or so, developed a strong interest in whiskey. I am glad that I found this site, as it has a lot of info on bourbon and whiskey...
