Yeah, it is a store select. They have several different store selections on the shelf. The Smooth Ambler might be the best.

Not a regular pour but it is ok for what it is. I prefer WL12 and OWA. I do have some WSR 7 year which is pretty good. Even for the price, there are other options that I prefer.

Sticky: Re: BOTM 1/14: Colonel E H Taylor Small Batch

Interesting selection for BOTM. I agree with others. There is a distinct BT family taste. I also notice a musty scent along with a hint of cherry. The entry is a little hot but I don't find the...

Welcome to the forum Cato! There is a pretty active Georgia contingent. I think they are seeking a "Goat Whisperer" to tame an unhappy member.

    Re: 1912 Old Jim Gore

Yeah, it probably has more "cool" value than intrinsic value. There were a lot of pre-prohibition brands.

I like the suggestion of OGD and Four Roses. Depending on your preferences, OGD BIB or 114 should be fine. I prefer Four Roses Single Barrel but Small Batch provides a nice introduction to the...
