You have a very nice collection, the only one that disappoints me is BH but then I have not tried it recently so it may deserve another open bottle pour to see how it has changed since the last time....

I revisited this bourbon last night. When I first tried it several years ago I was not very impressed and it sat toward the back of the cabinet. However, I enjoyed it last night as it has a bright...
There are very few bourbons or whiskies I dislike. Like many other things, appreciation for differences takes some time. On one evening a spicy rye may call out and on another occasion a wheated or...
I love the 80 proof, how does this one compare? Does it retain a similar flavor profile (obviously more intense with proof and aging)? The 80 proof is a terrific "dessert" bourbon.
Not having tried FC I was thinking to myself, it sounds like my experience w OGD. Now I have a frame of reference....a somewhat in your face old fashioned bourbon (what I used to associate with...

If it is the same guy we had this summer I agree...not real personable.
Blitz - was "Don" drinking or waiting for you to buy him a round?
He might be a regular there.
Andy, do you drink your neat or with some water or ice? I find some ice helps transform it ..I have the 100..it loses some of the roughness and adds some sweetness. It is not a "great" whiskey but...

A particularly evil place that is....a blighted bit of our state history.
I guess "southern" is a state of mind. I live in northern IL and I occasionally see this moron (IMHO) driving around town in a pick-up with a very large Confederate flag on a wooden pole flapping...
Out of curiosity, how did you find the site?
I just did a Google search on "bourbon" and SB is the 3rd listed....is this similar to what you did?
Or, were you looking up a particular bourbon...
