On Capitol Hill?! :slappin:
It's a sausage fest Joe.
I bet it wouldn't have mattered if you saw the batch number as it was probably a ringer. The bottles of 17 & 18 I've had were all different, some were more woody than others.
Good to see another member from the area. Welcome. This is a great site to learn from.

Welcome to SB, Tex. Glad to have you here. Good group of guys in your area that like to get together and drink some fine bourbons.
Better stock up on the WT 101 rye while it's still around. ;)
Welcome to the club Pete! Just a few hours north of you.

Welcome Michael. Great to have another Seattlite on board.
Sounds like you prefer the in-your-face style of bourbon and rye. Might want to try the Knob Creek single barrel, JTS Brown BIB, WT rye...
HH is also working on another wheater with the Fitzgerald name. Fingers crossed.
No label change. The black label is for Japan.

Dry Fly makes a wheat whiskey. Lots of folks here in WA like it, but I've never tried it.
You would think it could be better considering how great a job they did with the 2010 Parkers Heritage wheater. Pappy would not approve of the current bottling.:frown:
Love that story! I don't know about you, but I could pick out that SW bottling from the rest every time . I love the sweetness married with the uniqueness of DSP16 yeast flavor.
I have a question about Centennial. Was it ever available in bottle sizes other than 750 or 50ml? Just curious, thanks.
Ouch, I bet your ears are still ringing!
Nice stash btw
I never chewed on my pencils, but I remember the smell from the classroom sharpener and it's one I'll never forget. The only bourbon I've sampled that had that distinct nose and taste was from a...
I'll second that. The photos are amazing. It would be cool to have a SB.com gallery of bourbon bottles.

Glad you found it. Nice chatting with you!
Welcome to SB Andrew! Small world as you are right across the bridge from me(I'm in Magnolia). This place is awesome and I've learned so much from reading all the varied posts. Stop bye chat sometime...
Cheers to your Grandfather. That's great story Dan. Thank you.
Sorry about the bourbon nostril burn CC. My bad as I should have said whiskey, chock that one up to bourbon on the brain.
Thanks for the welcome DS. My wallet is already much lighter and not a...
