The Binnys bottling is 14 year Bernheim if I am not mistaken and beautiful bourbon at that! MY house pour to those that will drink it neat. Best bang for the buck out there IMO.

I would say the BTEC rum is the most uninteresting of the BTEC Collection as it is not bourbon. As far as a collector's item though on a scale from 1-10 its a 9.

I believe if you feel MM is too sweet than many bourbons may not be to your liking. One that I feel is more Islay tasting than bourbon is the Elijah Craig line. Either the 12 or 18 would work. ...
