I can think of worse afflictions, but you're learning from the best bourbon site on the planet.
Welcome to the site. There are a few other members here from NE Ahia and I'm out in Lake County. What part of the area are you in?
Welcome,
Click on the "New to Straightbourbon" forum and then the orange "Start new Thread" button.
This forum isn't a bourbon pricing site.
Best of luck with your knowledge search.
Welcome to the site. Great to have another Buckeye around.
Welcome aboard, you're hitting all of the high points as far as distilleries go.
BOTM up early two months in a row, huh? :falling: I hope you all don't get spoiled.
June brings us back to rye recipe #1 specialty line from Buffalo Trace with Colonel E.H. Taylor, Jr. Warehouse C...
A couple bucks, max
Stagg and BH in the same sentence about top shelfers?
I wish I could eat popcorn...this thread has fantastic potential.
Welcome to SB, BTW.
Like many others I love the older pewter and dark wood bottlings but the new stuff leaves me flat. It is just too young for my tastes.
I'm glad I have scads of 90s era KS and RR101 put up to tide...
Actually, we were getting decent stuff in before but we didn't have to compete with sales : reps stiffing us on special orders to route stock to the new whiskey bar in town. Ohio's system is screwed...
Welcome to SB and thanks for the competiton for the meager offerings that we get in Ohio.
My first thought was that you were Florence Henderson's grandson, but I guess that Wes and Lincoln are cool too.
Welcome aboard.
Four Roses Mariage 2009 is probably the driest bourbon I recall tasting. Not widely available and probably not a daily drinker at the price but it fits the bill otherwise.
BTOTY is going to be pricey this year.
17 bucks for a one ounce pour?
Nearly 70 dollars for 120 milliliters of whiskey? That is over 400 bucks for a 750ml equivalent.
Nice selection, rotten price IMO.
Make sure it didn't turn brown. If it did, you may have some issues.
No offense, but this has been discussed here ad nauseum and the answer is...we will probably never know if the Lincoln County Process is a disqualifier. The only way to tell is if B-F or Dickel...
Running people off this site seems to be a sport with some people on here.
Interestingly enough, Ohio lists the 80 proof JTS Brown at 4 years old and the BiB at 5. Fact or fiction?
I like this as a value pour. Nobody is going to mistake it for EWSB, but I find it to be very drinkable straight or on the rocks.
"Better" or "worse" are possible, based on your palate. Nobody here is going to know what your preferences are, so we can't tell you if you are going to like it better or not.
Wow, best vodka?
