Florida is definitely a wine and beer state, but good bourbons are becoming more available here.

I spent a good deal of my wayward youth in NE Ohio, and have been to IL, MI, WI, etc. I envy you guys that live up in the northern midwest.

The BIB is not bad either, but the 114 really stands head and shoulders above it, IMHO.

I also find there to be a large difference between the two.

They don't taste anything alike to me.

They are still making it.

They also make an 81 proof (watered down 101) and there was a rumor that they were stopping the production of the higher proof for a while.

Let us know how you like that one. Everyone seems agree that it is a fine rye.

Look for Wild Turkey 101, Wild Turkey Rye 101, George Dickel 12, George Dickel Rye, and Old Grand Dad 114.

I just got my first bottle. OGD 114 virgin no more.

My first impression is Wooooooo this is one hot bourbon!

The alcohol really smacked me in the face, then as the burn slowly subsides all...

I think I will pick up a bottle of this in the next couple of days.

I finally found it at the local wine and spirits superstore, for a whopping $25.00!
