Welcome aboard to you and the whole slew of newer members from Chicago.
This may give me another reason to get back to Delilah's. I've killed many bottles of whiskey and brain cells there.

Welcome aboard Erik. Which burb are you in?
Welcome aboard Alpha. I think most members are big whiskey fans and fans of other tasty alcohol beverages as well.
I stumbled upon a few bottles of old Rip 10/90 today. I assume this was old stock and not the fall release.
Just surprised to see any VW on any shelf these days.
I'm leaning toward appalled. Slow down Pav. It's a marathon, not a race.
It's been a few months since I had a pour but it's my number 1 American whiskey hands down...until the bunker runs dry and then I'll find another favorite but It's been love from first sip with the...
Why hasn't our esteemed member, willett 27, aka sack of dirty balls posted anything else here since then?
Seems like we'll have quite a few newer members joining in the festivities.
Maybe you can throw some rye whiskey in the mix as well.
Reading for years? What took you so long to join up?
Welcome to SB fellow southsider.
One post to ask for money and then gone?
Just to make PVW more popular?
Good riddance!
I have a feeling that some people hunt for bottles just to stick on ebay and they aren't neccesarily old or good. While I might pay some $$$ for an Old Taylor from 1982, I have a few from 1988 that...
Steve, Wecome aboard. Always good to have another SB-er in the area.
I just hope it not the same burbs as I because you might take all the good bottles from my binny's.:slappin:
They come with bottles and claim they're just here to find out about whiskey and how much they enjoy it and then never return.
Either we welcome them with open arms (but they still won't return)
or...
Always glad to have another Illinois bourbon drinker on board.
Now that you've become more experienced, you can mock the Woodford drinkers as I do.
I haven't picked up any FC103 yet but I did see case of it the other day. The outside of the case says, "Warning! Fighting Cock Inside!"
I enjoy the older versions and think I need some right now. I don't think I'll be purchasing a newer version soon because of the old stuff bunkered.
I have a feeling that if SW was still...
Welcome aboard. Great bunch of whiskey drinkers here with a great knowledge of whiskey. If you have a question, someone knows the answer. As just about every SB-er in the tri-state area has done,...
Welcome aboard!
I wish I went out more often so I could get some free whiskey.
Simple...get one of each bourbon they have at Binny's.
The gov't warning usually means it's post 89. I have a variety of dusty Old Fitz Prime....maybe I can see what year they first used it.
I haven't hit the Centennial in quite awhile and think i need to revist it. I have L'ville bottle thats pretty damn good if memory serves me right.
BT still has some good wheaters somewhere because...
Keep up the good work. Sounds like the bunker is off to a good start.
I think the bottle has more value empty after all your friends have helped drink it.
