Re: BOTM, 7/08: Wild Turkey American Spirit

I have purchased and drank a bottle of AS. I liked it so much that I replinished the bottle with another. I found the premium bottling of WT to be surprising tasteful and pleasing. At the price, it...

    Re: Old Grand Dad BiB

I bought a bottle of 114 and have been drinking on it for more than a week. I truly like it and the price makes this a quality bourbon-heck it is a quality bourbon at a higher price.

    Re: New from Northern Ohio

You are headed in the right direction with any of the Pappy drinks. The Winkle Lot B is also quite good. If you find Pappy 15, by all means buy it. I would also recommend the Weller brand. When I...

Re: BOTM, 2/08: WL Weller Special Reserve

Re: New from South side Chicago.

15 Year Pappy is great; I would also recommend 10 year old Old Rip Van Winkle 107 Proof. Excellant bourbon at a reasonable price. Old Weller is very similar.

Re: BOTM, 1/08: Prichard's Double Barreled

This is my first time on the BOTM forum. This was one of the things that excited me about SB whien I joined the first of December. I think that trying a new borbon each month will be fun. But...

    Re: Save ye Money!?

    Mark-
It appears that your tests actually disaffirm the thesis of Mr. S Tree. There is a difference between the taste of bourbon, and the value is determined by taste and not necessarily price. The...

    Re: Hello from Eastern Tennessee

Strongly suggest the following rivers: Watauga, Clinch, and South Holston. The small streams around the Watauga are particularly good! Trout, cigars, and whiskey make great companions.
