Sorry to leave this hanging. The standard Old Scout is rather good, and an easy recommendation around $30. I've gotten spoiled drinking lots of full strength single barrel stuff, but the 6-7 year...

Somebody mentioned having a mini bottle and it occurred to me that I had one sitting around from Xmas. I haven't had a pour in a year or so, and I was pleasantly surprised by it last night. It's...

Squire, I am certain that John Little will be thrilled to share samples of anything they've got in the rickhouse. The Greenbrier Valley is a beautiful destination, our state would love to have you.

They've got a lot of "one-off" experiments aging in addition to what will be their flagship bourbon. The recipe for yearling, their 2ish-year-old young bourbon has been a slightly different wheated...

The Smooth Ambler spirit is wheated bourbon. The oldest of which is probably turning 4 years old over the next few months. The first release should be in the 18-24 month window, I think.

They have stock on site in Maxwelton, but they have much, much more in Indiana. The first few years the spirit got a substantial "finishing" in WV, but their sales growth means the barrels will be...

I can't answer your question specifically, but your bottle almost certainly has some SW in it. No SW was distilled after 1992, I think that's the only factual thing everyone can agree on when it...

Here in Appalachia we have a long history with "independent distillation". I would strongly recommend you avoid "legal" moonshines as they are basically overpriced gimmicks. There is a curiosity...
