I've never seen any in Madison...wanted to try this whiskey for a good while now.
I've always been curious about this juice...guess I'm going to have to pick up a bottle for an outdoor/camping overnight gig coming up... :D

I don't smoke cigars either, but I'm definitely down with a few good pours of bourbon with some good jazz records! :D Blanton's goes great with old Miles. WT101 is superb with Jimmy Smith. ;)
Hola from another cheesehead (just down the road a piece)...
Where do you usually shop? I usually go to Woodman's, Steve's (both Mineral Point Rd. and PD) or Liquor Town...never had "off" notes...
WT101 sells for $23 at the same shop (Woodmans.) Wierd, I know...
Welcome Steve! Methinks you'll like it here. Pull up a chair and have a pour or three.... :)
Picked up a bottle at Woodmans, shelf price is $19.99. Slightly lighter in color than the standard 101. Initial nose is mostly corn and caramel, with some citrus. The corn sweetness carries onto...
Guess I know what I'm going to be picking up this weekend...I've been curious, especially since I had a taste of WTRR 101 (boy was that ever good!) I'll see if the new labels are at my usual...
Welcome aboard, and I second the recommend to try Weller Special Reserve. I'm somewhat of a newbie too, but I've found several pours that I really enjoy, and Weller SR has become one of them. My...

Had a total of 3 firsts this weekend as a bourbonewbie...I was in Chicago working ReptileFest (http://www.chicagoherp.org/fest/index.php) and Saturday night on my way back to a fellow Chicago Herp...
Oddly enough, the Mustard Museum is going away, moving to nearby Middleton. I've actually never been in that place, believe it or not...
The organ. :) Though I use a clone organ (Nord Electro 2) for most live gigs and some recording, I record most often with my 1963 B-3. I'm incurably hooked on the Hammond sound... :)
Well, another weekend's gigging and a couple more bourbons sampled... :) At the Thursday jam, a bottle of JBB showed up on the bar back, so I tried a shot. It almost tasted like...
Nice beverage rack, and that's quite an impressive stash o' bottles, too! If had that much bourbon stashed up I think my better half would strangle me... ;)
Oh, there are bourbonians about in the enchanted land of coronary artery disease :D But it's true that 'sconnies often favor brandy and "umbrella drinks"...
And yes, some nice whisky glasses are...
So far, MM and WR are what I've liked the most with KC coming in pretty close too. Sometimes I like the sweet smoothness of MM (more wheat-heavy) and sometimes I'm in the mood for rye spiciness. ...
Hi all,
Just a hello from a relative neophyte from the thankfully-thawing land of cheese, brats, and beer. :) Like many here, the time-honored or hackneyed (depending on your perspective) bourbon...
