Is there anything special about the RHF with the Gold Chain? it says Bottled in Bond on the neck.
I saw one of these mixed in with other traditional bottlings. Just curious of the difference.

Reality is an illusion created by a lack of alcohol.
Those were early bottlings and are very good, I would pick it up if it where me BIRD!!
I just did last week when I ran across one myself.

I could not discern any real difference between the early bottling and the last two that I drank. Luckily for me RHF is plentiful in these parts, and one of my favorites.

I wasn't aware there was a variation. Hope to get my hands on some soon to try it out. RHF is a personal favorite.

To the best of my knowledge, all RHF is BIB. It is one of my top favorites, too.

It's good but it costs too much.

IMHO, as for other pours that get discussed on the board, this is all personal preferences and taste. RHF, Lot B , Rare Breed are all within a few dollars in this market. Depending on what I am wanting to taste I can make that decision across a wide range of flavor profiles.
For me, my choice would be RHF, and yours would be something else.

Well, it's all a mute point now, as I see it is being closed out by Pennsylvania--at a great price of $34 and change. Farewell RHF.
