Which Bottle Have You Laid To Rest?

As we've no thread of our own in the Scotch pages I thought I might start one to commemorate or bid good riddance to bottles that have passed.

My latest bottle to be buried was The Balvenie 12 yr Doublewood. A fine dram with a well balanced mix of malt and sherry. It was replaced immediately.

    Glenmorangie Burgundy wood.
Really good, but I have some better ones I'm enjoying now, since I've received a few gifts as a house-warming, including HP 25 and Royal Lochnagar.

If you mention that Doublewood again, I'm going to quit this forum!

Unfortunately, many good bottles are running low...

Last week I enjoyed quite a bit of scotch and killed off my Aberlour A'Bunadh #18 and Highland Park 12.

My most recent laid-to-rest bottle was Cragganmore 12-year. I mourned its passing. Then I cracked open a bottle of Glenmorangie 10 and felt a little better.
