Which Bottle Have You Laid To Rest?

Just laid down a bottle of Old Pulteney 12. A fine bottle that will need replacing.

Also laid to rest a Talisker 18 tonight . Wonderful scotch and also in need of replacing. A pricey bottle no doubt.

Just killed off my Macallan 12. Not real impressive. I doubt I'll ever buy another. No complexity and too much sherry for my taste.

In the last week I've killed off my Old Pulteney 12, Redbreast 12, Talisker 18, & Talisker 10. Each one is well worth replacing.

i hear too much good about redbreast...so, what is a bourbon drinker to expect from this highly lauded bottling?

The Redbreast is smooth and has very nice sherry notes. As a bourbon drinker myself I usually recommend the Balvenie Doublewood 12 to others.

Tonight I killed my Lagavulin 16. Need another me thinks!

For me within the last two weeks.....The Balvenie FR, Old Grand-dad BiB, Ardbeg 10, Glenfiddich 12, Highland Park 12. Thank god I have lots more to open

Highland Park 18 is gone. Great scotch that won't be immediately replaced as the price is slightly too high in my books (~$85). To be sure, I prefer the Bowmore 17 @ ~$60.
