Tonight I laid to rest a Talisker 10. Fantastic pour. This has jumped in price here recently. I'll get more but unfortunately its 18 yr old brother is now out of reach for me.

The 10 yr is up to $55 and the 18 is at $75 now. I haven't bought an 18 yr in almost 6 months

. Maybe when I start making better money ....

Dave,

North of Los Angeles/Central Coast I see the Talisker 10 for $55 and up, and the 18 -- when it can be found -- for $80 and up. No doubt they are a little cheaper in LA, and hopefully, in your area, too.

Last night I put down a Caol Ila 12. A very nice middle-of-the-road Islay that makes for a nice starter pour any given night.

Last night I finished off a Talisker 10yr. One of my favorite pours and rarely disappoints. I used to love the 18 yr but have found it lacking recently.
