    A profoundly bad time...

... to be a malt whisk(e)y drinker in PA.

Items disappearing off the shelves of the state stores:

    1) Bladnoch 15-year Cask Strength

    2) Bushmills 16-year Single Malt (the 10 year was pulled down months ago)

    3) The Dalmore 12-year

    4) The Dalmore Cigar Malt

    5) The MacAllan 25-year

    6) Pebble Beach 12-year Speyside (by Lombard)

I'm especially upset about having to special order ANY single malt Irish whiskey now. I'm also a big Dalmore fan, so this news did not go over well with me at all...

    That's sad.....

Bushmills 10 is my second favorite Irish, just behind Redbreast 12.

Can you get Jameson 12 ? Its a blend but its fairly high in pot stilled whiskey.

And some say prohibition ended 75 years ago. To some it has, but as I recently learned, what you are experiencing are the long-felt after-effects.

In 60% of Kentucky's counties, prohibition has never ended. Bourbon County, Kentucky is DRY.
