    Old Forester BIB circa 1985

    That should read 1958.

    I found this in my Uncle Charlie's basement.

    The tax stamp says Spring 1953 and Fall 1958. As you can see, there isn't much left, but what is left is delicious. Anyone here familiar with this stuff?

    That looks like one of the Raymond Loewy special decanters. Stoopsie and I (and others) have a few of these.

    What a find! Too bad the evap is so great.
    It must've been such a treat to find that treasure lurking in your family's home.

    My Pop-Pop owned a bar back in the '60s. What I wouldn't do to go back in time and raid his stock. All that's left for us now are Schlitz bar lights and empty St. Paddy's Old Fitz decanters.

    Oh. It wasn't evaporated at all. My dad just drank it.
