The tax stamp says Spring 1953 and Fall 1958. As you can see, there isn't much left, but what is left is delicious. Anyone here familiar with this stuff?

That looks like one of the Raymond Loewy special decanters. Stoopsie and I (and others) have a few of these.

It must've been such a treat to find that treasure lurking in your family's home.
