A little ERSB w/nog followed by a very allocated pour of PVW15 (running low + price is getting too steep); capped the evening with my fav winter pour this year: VWFRR

Since winter has raced up on us with great anger, I figured that I would try the Four Roses hot toddy recipe in my new cup as a way to defrost.

I mixed it up just like the directions but I had to dump it out after a couple of sips. I think that I need to adjust the recipe because three cloves of garlic seems a bit excessive for such a small portion.

That bourbon and garlic would have made a great marinade for my steak.

sipping this surprisingly interesting Benchmark. newer bottling, 80 proof predictability...but alot of nose and flavors that are unique enough.

We had our traditional Christmas Eve celebration with a house full of family and a great treat this year...My son and his family in from Hawaii (Hickham AFB) for the first time in three years! It was lots of fun...capped off by a pour of one of my favorites... PVW 20.
