Started a long journey with an 04 ER17. Spectacular. I'm mixing a fair amount of heavy beers in tonight, but I'll leave room for an OCPR 13 yr... And...probably something else...

After my Ardbeg 10, it'll be a touch of Beam Distiller's Series and then some egg nog spiked with Tom Moore BIB.

Switched over to EC18 & water and may top off the evening with a little Weller SR to sweeten things up.

WLW '08 with a nice New York Strip. Nothing like grilling a quality steak with a fine bourbon in the middle of December.

I mixed it up this evening.

Started with a '69 Old Crow 10 year 86p. Next up, Weller SR and now sippin on some AA BIB.

Since winter has raced up on us with great anger, I figured that I would try the Four Roses hot toddy recipe in my new cup as a way to defrost.

I mixed it up just like the directions but I had to dump it out after a couple of sips. I think that I need to adjust the recipe because three cloves of garlic seems a bit excessive for such a small portion.
