Reality is an illusion created by a lack of alcohol.
Do you know if any of this will make it to DC? I got a few bottles of the 7 yr from Toddy's and really liked it. I was told the owner of the two "Bourbon" bar/restaurants has some interest in Willett's and manages to get it distributed to selectDC stores. I'm interested in the 18 yr if the price isn't too high.

Out shopping this morning and had no intentions of getting any bourbon,
at least that's what I tell myself,
but I saw a bottle of Russell's Reserve at state minimum price.
What the heck I thought it is 10 year old Turkey after all.
I'll open it later.

I stopped to check out a store that I hadn't been in before, but I really didn't need anything. For some reason I have a difficult time just checking out the bourbon without taking some home with me.
I'm gona have to work on that...![]()
Picked up a WL Weller Special Reserve and a Old Fitz BIB.

Went to visit a friend in Milwaukee today. Stopped at a few places to see what I could find. A couple were recommended by a fellow SB member. There were a couple of nice stores with great selections and decent, if not odd prices. No dusties but a couple of good deals. Picked up a bottle of ER 10/90 and three OF Repeal Sets from one place. All on sale. My big score came while on the way back home. I stopped at the place I left a bunch of stuff last week. Upon further examination, I found a couple more interesting items. I spotted an older 1.75 of OGD BIB. It is still there. I also spotted three older 1.75's of Old Forester BIB. One of these is now in my possession. I also bought a BHC VSOF, a WTKS Pewter top, and the three Weller Centennials I left behind last week. I am a bit poorer, but also a bit happier.Cheers! Joe
PS. To top it off, an ER 101 bar mirror that I bought on ebay, was waiting for me when I got home.![]()
