    Courvoisier Mini

My grandad gifted me this Courvoisier mini that he said he's been "trying to get rid of" at our family Christmas party this year. He claims to have gotten it on a flight to Myrtle Beach on his first golf trip down there, which, by my reckoning, would be sometime in the 1970's. Does anyone know a way I can narrow down when this bottle is from by looking on the label, etc? There doesn't seem to be much info on it and I'm really only curious. Also, would the contents be similar to what one would find in a bottle of this cognac nowadays?

    Thanks in advance.

Well, it's only a VS, so I say just drink it. Nice bottle, though, hang on to it.
VS cognac is not that old but is still a nice after dinner pour. Cognac is a beautiful thing. Enjoy it.

    Cheers!

P.S. Sorry to be of no help in determining the age of the bottle or its contents.

I don't have a lot of experience with Cognac, but all of the bottles I've had previously were VSOP -- I thought that Courvoisier was a fairly primo brand, I was surprised to see this was only VS.

Yes, it is. All the top brands have multiple levels of offerings. Just like the bourbon distilleries, come to think of it.
