Forget the liquid for a moment - What's your favorite bottle shape?

It may sound like a stupid question, but I have a very good reason. Please post pics of your favorite bottle shape.

    Thanks

Judging just on shape? I like Buffalo Trace. But if we include label design I really dig Baby saz. I like the label and I like the fact that it is painted on and not paper.

When I was drinking El Tesoro tequila the other day, I was admiring its painted label and wondering why more bourbon bottles didn't use that technique. I always liked WT RR 101's painted label.

Leaving bourbon behind for a moment, I think the Captain Morgan Private Stock bottle is pretty cool staying in price ranges, but out of everything, the coolest bottle I have seen is the Hennessy Ellipse bottle, and I'll be damned if I ever get a sip of that stuff.

    Raymond Loewy Old Forester Decanter

I like the 1955 Raymond Loewy Old Forester Decanter.

I would totally keep the BTAC bottles for refilling and keeping on the sideboard if they didn't have the impossible to remove painted label.

I seem to like the bottle art better when there is whiskey still in the bottle. There is something very off putting about an empty bottle. AS far as basic shape goes, I like the style similar to WT Russell's Reserve or better, Aberlour Abunadh. I also like the decanter styles but no favorite that stands above the rest.

Often I am forced to deal with the fact that I prefer bourbon over dealing with facts.

You and I agree on something again. Sazerac bottles are just absolutely perfect.

I am fond of the EC 12 bottle. My wife has taken to making her own spiced rum in one of my empties.
