Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout 2006 brewing. This is a great bottle to put away for a few years in a dark cool place.... mellows out, sweetness dampens down while complexity and finish improve greatly....

Absolutely diggin' on a Left Hand Rye Bock Lager. It's a 750 ml with a cool cork and one of those wire thingamagigs, like on a champagne bottle. It took a pair of pliers to get the cork out, and when I pulled it, it spewed like bubbly. Very, very malty, HUGE head, and silky smooth. Now, if I can just remember where I bought it, I'll go get another.

Dogfish Head 90 Minute Imperial IPA. 9% beer that is quite tasty. Picked up a 4 pack at a local liquor store yesturday while dusyt hunting. Good stuff.

Clipper City Loose Cannon has always been a favorite... heavy on the hops yet well balanced.

A new shipment of Pliny must have just arrived, because I just downed the freshest bottle I've ever had: bottled 1/23/09. Almost, but not quite, as good as drinking it on tap at the Falling Rock.

I have it on tap at home, they call it ESB (Early Spring Beer) but it is in fact an ESB (Extra Special Bitter). I only tried one pint after I tapped it the other day so I cannot comment yet, I'll have a couple tonight and see! Originally Posted by ratcheer
